It was a time in my life I felt ashamed and embarrassed because I could not read or write. But today my reading and writing has improved a lot, thanks to the READ Center.
I am feeling so much confidence in myself, I am reading and writing much more in life. I am understanding what I’m reading and my writing is improved.
I want to thank Jean Proffitt for making the READ Center come alive. I also want to thank people that donate, to help people like me.
I really appreciate the tutors many of them are retired. They could be laying somewhere on a beach drinking margarita and mojito’s enjoying the sun but instead they choose to volunteer for the READ Center to help people to learn how to read and write better, we work on a computer as well, also work on math, how at time I wish we had a little more time.
