From READ Center Student JanineB

It’s been crazy the last few weeks. I feel like I am on house arrest which I never have been on.

Now I know how people feel about being on house arrest. It is really disturbing and scary. Watching the news is depressing, learning how many people have lost their lives and how many family members are hurting. “THIS VIRUS IS NO JOKE.”  Some people are really not taking it as seriously as they should be, especially these young ones. They are out here like they can’t catch it, they are bringing it to their family members. It is really scary, and there are people out here that got it and they do not even know they have it. Do you know what is really crazy? I’ve heard that three people predicted this was going to happen in 2020. They wrote about it in the 80’s. A lady named Sylvia Browne and a man named Dean Koontz. I am not sure of the third person yet but I’m going to find out. All we can do is pray not just for our loved ones but for the world.

As for myself I’ve been praying trying not to worry too much. I have a son and my grandkids, family members and friends that live in New York. Thank God for whatsapp and Google Duo. We have been keeping in touch a lot, I can’t wait till this is over so I can get back to class and enjoying life again.

TO THE STAFF, TUTORS AND STUDENTS AT THE READ CENTER PLEASE BE SAFE.

PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR MASK AND GLOVES!!!!!!!!!
